Openstatus now ships an MCP server — bring your status pages and incidents into Claude, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible client.

Point your client at `https://api.openstatus.dev/mcp` with an `x-openstatus-key` header and your assistant can:

- **List status pages** — pull workspace context before acting.
- **Create, update, and resolve status reports** — drive incidents from chat.
- **Schedule maintenance windows** — without leaving your editor.

Every mutation requires an explicit `notify` choice and is attributed to your API key in the audit log — so AI actions stay traceable.
